Model Finished: February 2004

Originally, I built Damnatos as a rhino. Instead of buying proper extra armour from Forge World, I wanted to make my own. The result wasn't really what I had hoped for, and eventually I bought a FW Whirlwind kit for the rhino chassis.

Conversion details:

The techmarine is based on the Blood Angels techmarine torso. I converted the right arm too, giving him techmarine shoulderpads and a commanding pose.

As with my rhino, Velox, the side-doors open and close.

Painting details:

The lenses where painted with Swooping Hawk Turqouise. Skull white was added to the SHT for several highlights.
