Assault Cannon update: November 2004

Vlad the Terrible was once a member of the Sanguinary High Counsel. His banner shows him as the High Priest he was before being ripped asunder by a Tyranid Carnifex outside the Dolorosa Hive on Golgoth Secundus.

With the release of the v4 Codex: Space Marines, the Plasma Cannon suddenly wasn't a legal option for a Dreadnought. The Assault Cannon was improved a lot instead and Vlad now sports this rending weapon.

Conversion details:

Notice the extra armour. The plates are made from 1.5mm plasticard, with 1mm plastic rod for rivets.

Vlad's right leg was re-modelled so that he now stands with this leg bent.

The banner poles and banner plaques are all made from plastic rod.
