+++ Land-speeder +++

Model Finished: March 2003

This land-speeder carries a potent multi-melta for vehicle-hunting. The grinning pilot adds character to the model, as do the hooks that protrude from the sides (note the damage and blood-splatters on the front - who said that land-speeders weren't good for tank-shock?).

I have realised that a single land-speeder only has a limited chance of achieving something on the battlefield. For that reason, I bought a second one, but that model is still un-assembled.

I have later modified this Landspeeder into a Tornado.

Conversion details:

The gunner can be replaced by a heavy bolter-gunner if the mission demans it. The torso is simply pinned to the waist.

Painting details:

The ruined column was drybrushed with different greys and whites, but I decided that the base needed some more colour and painted the column with thinned blue and green inks.
